I’m not really sure that’s the name for it. Actually, I know that’s not the name for it. But why the hell would I look it up when I can add to our lovely language with a non-simplistic simple word?
I’m glad to see you’re catching on already. Anyway, I was asked (some time ago) to write a poem about a person who was afraid of water. This was for my Creative Writing II class, and, yes, that’s all the instructions entailed: write a poem about someone who is afraid of water. You gotta love these classes. Anywho (you see how I changed it up there?), the following is what resulted. Read it, think about it, and we’ll discuss afterward.
